Other than for specific purposes as agreed with the user such as fulfilling an on-line enquiry (see “Enquiry Form”) the information that is collected through this site is used for marketing or analysis purposes only.

The Newbury Group’s web site offers several opportunities for visitors to register for promotional and informational mailings, online Webinars and resources, and for assistance in evaluating our products and services. These registration forms enable users to opt in to The Newbury Group’s mailing lists and require users to give contact information (such as name and email address). We use this contact information to send the requested information about our company, products and services. Notice is given at the point of collection to enable users to choose whether or not they consent to the usage terms. Those who have signed up and subsequently wish to withdraw their participation may opt out of receiving future mailings at any time (see the opt-out section below).
When you visit our site we may collect the IP address of your computer. We also automatically record other information. This is used to see how often you visit the site, and how you navigate through the site.
We may use methods such as clear gifs (also known as pixel tags or web beacons). A clear gif can monitor certain user behaviour, such as usage of the web site whether opened an e mail message or whether you clicked on an URL in an email message. For internal analysis purposes we sometimes link this individual identifier to the clear gifs to allow us to see the general open rates and activity generated from newsletters. Information retrieved this way is used for statistical purposes only. It is never released to third parties.
